Your privacy

Last updated 2026-07-13

The short version

tick0 is built to collect as little about you as possible. Playing as a guest needs no account and stores nothing about you on our servers. The site does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics; if that changes, this policy will be updated to say so.

What is stored in your browser

Your client settings (things like display and audio preferences) are saved locally in your own browser so they persist between visits. This stays on your device, is never sent to us, and is cleared whenever you clear your browser’s site data.

Guest play

When you play as a guest, no account is created and we do not collect personal information about you.

Signing in with Discord

Discord sign-in is not available yet. When it is introduced, the intent is to link your account using your Discord user ID only, and to avoid collecting anything more than is needed to run your account and progress. The exact details will be confirmed here before that feature launches.

Leaderboards

If you set a ranked time on a signed-in account, the username you chose when creating your account, your time, and the date are shown publicly on the hiscores. Guest runs are never recorded or ranked.

Third parties

The site does not sell or share your data. If you choose to sign in with Discord once that is available, your use of Discord is also governed by Discord’s own privacy policy.

Age

tick0 is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Your choices

You can reset everything stored locally by clearing your browser’s site data. Once accounts exist, you will be able to request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the site evolves. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
