What is Tick Zero?
A free combat sim that runs in your browser. It mirrors a real game engine tick for tick, so you can spawn in, gear up, and rehearse any fight with nothing to download and no supplies to lose.
What is the difference between "Play as guest" and "Sign in with Discord"?
Play as guest drops you straight in, anonymous, with nothing saved and no ranked times. Sign in with Discord (coming soon) gives you a name, keeps your personal bests, loadouts, and settings, and lets your times rank on the leaderboards.
What can I fight?
The focus is the hardest endgame encounters. Fight through the Inferno to its final boss, take on the Colosseum champion, and drill the mechanics as many times as you want at zero cost.
Is it safe?
Yes. Everything runs inside your browser, the same as any other website. There is nothing to download or install, and no game account of yours is ever involved.
What information do you collect about me?
As little as possible. Playing as a guest collects nothing. When Discord sign-in arrives it will use only what is needed to identify your account and save your progress. We have no interest in gathering personal data beyond that.
Is Tick Zero affiliated with Jagex?
No. Tick Zero is an independent, non-commercial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Jagex. All original game content and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
What is it built on?
Tick Zero is a fork of Lost City, an open-source project that recreates an early era of the game engine from scratch. The upstream project is on GitHub.
